My brother has a 4-1 on his 'teg. The primaries on that thing go about to the back side of the block.

if the one i get from nopi is the 4-1, i'll compare it to the oem tubular 4-1 that I have. but yes, i agree that it doesn't look much different....

I would still be alittle interested in purchasing one to see if it gives more power.A 4 into 1 header is supposed to give more upper rpm power compared to the traditional 4 into 2 into 1. It would be nice to pick up more upper rpm power.

              Pacesetter Quality

Me as well, this is my second header. First one was when I had the GT and then sold it when I got transferred. Now after purchasing the Mazda 323 and dropped in the BP I once again have a Pacesetter. The PS header is very light compared to the OEM one and gives the car a very low key but peppy sound.

People complain that the paint chirps off and gets all ugly. It is even better it looks rugged and old cause some smog techs will not notice.

well i got the pacesetter - it was the new 4-1. i returned it to nopi a few days ago..... the pics should show you why (for instance, the collector is a *horrible* design)

and if you haven't seen it, be sure to check out this group buy i'm arranging for a *real* 4-1 header from Finland :

Yeah I have seen that one-- the original on Corksports site is HUGE.

Does anyone HAVE that Genie header? Does the blue coating stay on?

Is it a better design and better quality than the Pacesetter?

balljoints = crappy seal...it will likely leak, esp with the joint being so close to the manifold itself.
