what year? there are different generations. hell, there's a RWD 626. lol

ive tried swapping the 93+ ones over to a mx3. rear's were totally different. wasnt gonna happen without alot of work. front swapped right over without any modding at all though.

But was the spline count the same? I was pretty sure the 626 used a different spline count. I know the P5 5 lug bolts up completely, giving you 5l in the front as fast as you can swap hubs.

Coulda swore the 93+ 626s would work in the rear. Jon (thereildeal) was planning that at one point. Something out there must work.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

the rear 626 hubs supposedly have a larger ID than the BG rear hubs. i gave up on this project after i found my sweet miata wheels... as they look damn close to the 5 spoke probe wheels i wanted to use with the 5 lug conversion haha

the only reason(s) i can really think of to go 5 lug would be:

use of the larger 6 brakes (since your using the different spindles) and maybe the MS3 wheels though i dont know if they would clear the fenders.

626 have a different spline count in the hub so you need the GTR hubs. I have one laying around, the GTR brakes fit bolt on to it but the axle spline count is different.

Get a set of P5 hubs and try pressing them in the BG spindle, the bearings are the same so the hubs should fit.

Indeed, but they GTR hubs work in MX6 spindles, that's what I'm saying. It's either this to get the larger bearings or the P5 hubs in BG spindles...

I was told that the guy in that pic just took his rotors and hubs from a bg and had a machine show redrill them. I was thinking about that but it would be safer to do it using p5 hubs and rotors. The only thing that's still on the paperwork is what rotors to use. I'm thinking p5(or any 5 lug pro) is the same dementions as the bg. That's why I need the speca and picsfrom both.
