you can literally throw an all inclusive DOHC head onto it(using DOHC headbolts)/ARP's and run it on the SOHC ecu/harness. you won't even have that dramatic of a power difference between ecu's/harness's.
just make a stockpile of parts over winter & tackle it as you can
I have to gather all the parts anyway. I might go ahead and just do a entire motor, not knowing if metal shavings and all in the motor. I guess I will do the interior while it's sitting and maybe do the sound deadening. I would love to klze it this time around to be honest.

Might be picking this up friday. Hopefully it's what he says it is. Took out the BP to install a built 1.6T to race. Hsrness. Manual. And done extra parts.

He owns a shop and said he would install for $525. Considering the time line of me installing it, I may get him to do it, or I will be driving my yukon until atleast April, so I would spend that 1k in fuel. I drive 120 mile round trip to work

He runs a shop restoring cars and rebuilding engines, so Imma go see him thursday before i give any money. Work out a price for him to do the oil pan, and timing belt before we installs the engine. Will prob use the f series tranny since i know it's straight. I will keep the g, just in case. I dnt know if he has the half shafts and axles.
