That's Casey Dimmitt "Dimmwatt" as he's known on the FEOA.net boards---he walked into an exhaust hanger on a Dodge Charger about an hour ago. He's helping with the wiring on the car.sigpicwww.piercemotorsports.com www.piercemotorsport.com Like us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...91292610897146

I noticed also that the shifter hole has been relocated further back for a taller driver? Are you going to just extend the stock linkage or are you making something more reliable than the stock shifter with the rubber mount that falls out over time.
And also I have purchased a few coilvers from ksport for 240's and they work alot better than the first generation of ksport shocks. And im curious if what you have is a custom shock/spring rates or is it something I can order through my company? Cause I dont want the old valving setup on my car cause they dont last like the newer ones do.

The whole driver has been moved back 10" and inboard 2" for better weight distribution. We'll extend the shift rod the ten and run with it until we have issues/failures. Ksport offers a couple different models of shocks with different options/valving. We found a spring rate that works good on the racecar/ track car. We sell them with the normal valving/cartridge and then we have our own setup that we've developed as well for sale. I'm direct with them, pm me if you'd like a set and I'll work with your biz/resale. I have a set of the custom RR dampners in stock...sigpicwww.piercemotorsports.com www.piercemotorsport.com Like us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...91292610897146

some studs like these..... ARP ones I just put on the rear axles of my Corolla.
Hmm, I should check to see if the knurl diameter is right for the ford/mazda studs. kind of expensive, though, about 51 bucks for a set of 5 was the least expensive I found online. Worth every penny, though, to keep the wheels on the car and not stripping the ~4-5 thread engagement that they had before.
I'm looking forward to seeing this build finished, and see how blazingly fast you'll be heading around the track with it!

Their from a company called bimecc and they were $90 for 25 and then about $80 to machine the bull nose---not exactly "cheap" either---but very worth it. They also screw in as well so they are easily changed in the event of an "accident".Last edited by JPmotorsports; 04-24-2009, 11:17 PM.sigpicwww.piercemotorsports.com www.piercemotorsport.com Like us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...91292610897146

On the Porsche stuff we tack the back of the stud to the hub. I suspect you could use a mild threadlocking compound though (blue), there's not a lot of stress/load in that "direction" on it. The one time we had a damaged stud we were able to chisel off the tack and change the stud in the paddock.sigpicwww.piercemotorsports.com www.piercemotorsport.com Like us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...91292610897146
