Dan im sure you did your research on this, and thats why im asking you. Have ksport been getting a better reputation lately and making more quality products from what ive heard?
Yes, their second generation tubes have been better with far fewer blown struts. Their initial offerings were plagued by a lot of blown units and leaky struts. I find them to be an adequate intermediate street strut, between the Tokico Illumina and the pricier but sligthly better Teins.
Don't think I've ever seen that written anywhere! LOL
I peered out from the castle window and looked over the splendor of ROTM county. Yes, twas' a much simpler time back then. Peasants would go about their postings, and I, the mod, would rule over them with an iron fist.
Teins you need to buy pillow tops and camber plates seperate though. Camber plates come with the ksports, I love mine they ride awesome. I have the first generation and ya.. leaking struts is all too common just replaced them.

I was talking about their crappy valving (i.e., you're just buying a name - the product is worthless).
Most opinions on Tein;
Japanese made coilovers are nearly universally garbage, very few are decent and are more expensive than getting something nice from Bilstein or Koni and a basic coilover sleeve.
Tein is absolute garbage, their dampers are as varied as can be and their springrates are too low. Tokico, Kei Office, etc all those are crap and drifters seem to know the least about suspension (with the requisite inverse proportion of BS knoelsedge) of all the car cultures, with the exception of people that build T-Butckets.
