this is how i got it..



this is how it looks now..


things that i have done to it:
-mx-3 front seats
-tilt steering
-radio, amp, speakers and sub
-hids
-egt 7 spokes gold(i plan to repaint them silver soon)
-stage 2 clutch(it was slipping when i bought it)
-kyb struts with dz coilovers
-new strut mounts
-front strut bar
ive probably done a few other things but i cant remember.

plans:
-BP DOHC swap
-maybe turbo not sure...
-im going to use the SOHC bottom with the BP head. i just got the head from blazin674.
-port and polish head and intake manifold
-rebuild/ replace gaskets, etc.
- maybe remove p/s and a/c (not sure im thinking about it)

it will take me some time before this gets done, hopefully it should be done by next spring/summer .....

cell phone pics. today i took off the sohc head from the block, clean the head up a bit, and place the head on the block...

ive been cleaning up the engine more but not done, almost though. i have ordered a timing kit and gasket kit for it. i got the jdm top wing about a week ago....

yesterday i got the intake manifold, bp disty, ecu, and a few other things at the jy. today i installed the top wing......



i will be painting it soon.....

What does the sohc block and dohc head do? Lower the compression ratio? Good build so far, digging the wing are you going to colour match it?

yes it lowers the compression..
