I was beating AWD and RWD cars with drag radials, the track was in really rough shape. I was launching @ 3000RPM and riding out the wheel spin. I had the radials @ 18 PSI.

The CV shafts were out of my $500 MX-3 parts car so their time was likely just up (They started clicking) I think I wrecked the wheel bearings by not having the CV shafts installed while I was building the car, they are humming loudly, unless CV shafts hum when they are dead? A good lesson for anyone building a car or ever plan on pushing a car around with out the front axles installed... You will ruin the life span of the wheel bearings.. You need to at least have the outter joint, or even a good solid bolt and washer set up holding the wheel bearing tight while pushing the car around...

In the last month I've had quite a few "holy ****, that thing moves out!" conversations at stoplights.
To which I mostly reply, "haha, yeah, you should see what it does at full throttle!"
Awesome find on the 7 replica by the way! That'll be fun!Current:

I think the new tires and good track conditions will help me reach my goal. I am taking an advanced driver training course / track day with it in September too. I drive and enjoy it everyday. I drove it 6 hours today (there and back) and it never missed a beat. Some douche in a 3 sieries BMW that tried to box me in on the highway learned he could not out pull a 326. (He looked quite surprised in my rearveiw mirror) LOL. My trip was to check out my new project car! (I bought it). It is a hand built Lotus 7 replica. It currently has a 1982 79HP Toyota Corolla engine in it. I am going to put a SR20DET in it though."Discontent is the first necessity of progress."
