Thanks man! Durwood and I are having a full legit "WEEKEND OF PAINTING CARS" involving a real air compressor and a real spray gun with some body work/sanding included! Should be good times!

Worked on my MX3 wheels today tho!

Dirty on the left, clean on the right...turns out they're OE powder coated



Expect for the replacement on the left, my "goo gone painters help" destroyed it lol, so I decided to just paint them haha.



18v drill + wire wheel + 80 grit + 220 grit = prepped enough for me lol...also sanded the lip down smooth so I can sand/polish it after the wheels have dried.



Did that to both of those rims, and painted them gloss black...will probably be giving them another coat tomorrow since they got pretty dusty after I had to put them in the backseat to get them home lol...so that's tomorrow's place



THEN I went to a local car show (showed up late, as in 15 mins after it "officially" ended) then it turned into a Ontario Mazda Club mini meet! LOL we just kept rolling in! Jason (IMACHU2) was there all evening though, then the rest of us slackers showed

Oh ya! took off the ebay front strut bar I kinda want an Infini rear now to match...probably just end up reinforcing the rear ebay bar and ditch the aluminium center though...noticed quite the difference with the front bar.



One more pic for good measure lol, also fixed my front stitching for the bumper as it was all buggered from when I hit that porcupine back in the day

Nice jack! You know, back in like 04 or '05 I found an escort Lx in the JY with one of those GTX front tower bars, and an infini rear bar. I thought they were BS home made ****... I left them there because they didn't look as nice as eBay pieces, so I just figured they were worthless, lol FML.

Thanks man! As if about the strut bars tho! That'd be quite the find lol, I was surprised how strong the OE front bar is, I can probably jump on it without any issue! ebay bar would flex from just me grabbing the aluminum bar and rocking it back/forth!

It's worth it dude! Gonna be doing the complete car over the summer, gonna do the car in one shot vs patches...so much taping needs to be done for that vs glass/tires/lights lol

Turbo kit is coming off to sell in the next week or so, going to put that money towards a daily driver so the BG can go under the knife and get a larger turbo, ect, ect. So save your pennies!
