Success! got the Tbird hotside off the CHRA, took a lot of fine detailed work to try to dig out the split where the CHRA seats into it, but after that, and a good couple swings she's off!
However I think the turbine wheel is no good seems the inside of the hotside had about 1mm of carbon builld up on the inside causing it to catch the turbine wheel when they were separated I'll have to hunt around for Tbird turbine pictures and compare I guess...also the turbine backing plate has a small hole in it too, is this normal? No other damage seems to be around it. Pics would be pointless on potato phone.
I knew the unit was going to get rebuilt, but dang, after I flushed the CHRA oil feed/return for a while with ATF and oil, the bearing clearances tightened right up and she spins beautiful lol...frig!
