    Patrick's BG's

Wel my old post really sucked due to google translate so this is my tread 2,0

    Good evening all,

My name is Patrick Dohmen 30 years old and come from Son en Breugel Holland.
    When I was 18 I bought my first 323F BG '91
I bought it from my mother! For a verry small ammount. Lol
Yeah and when you're 18 going to stuff all slightly less long as that is the intention , yet has maintained that the F 150 to nearly 250 DKM .

And we have a Mazda 6 Sport 2.0 (my wife drives the 6 daily)
At the wintertime i was looking for a 2nd car and i found another BG 1.6 8v from '91.
150dkm, in the showroom it was almost too good to be true .Click image for larger version

Anyway it's not a dog forum.
Now I thought, this is a nice one and it's completely original and my intention is to keep it that way . ( Had never even resident radio
    Today I bought original wheels

And i was looking for original parts and accessories.
And i found a 323f BG GT for only 150 euro's, it only had a blown tranny.

A buddy of mine has his technical eye shine about it and thought it wasn't all that bad!

Last year i restored the GT and im driving it daily, because my 1,6 is currently in a dry shed for the winter time.

I also bought a donor car last august because i still needed parts for the 1,6 as wel as the GT

I striped this car completely an now im planning to put the BP from the donor in the 1,6.

Thats why im active on this forum because there are a lot of bp swaps going on!
I've already put power windows and the interior in the 1,6

Yesterday i picked up the bp and placed it in the backyard. (i've got a small house without a garage)
So this week the tranny must come off and take everything up the attic where i'll be working on the BP.
Where do u guys get cheap ovehaull kits for the bp?

I'm not sure what to do with tranny for the swap.
Should i use the donor g series gearbox witch has 280 dkm's on it.
Or do i reuse the F series gearbox from the B6 with 170dkm's on it.

The g series has the damn short 5th gear.
But i've read some treads about people using the f series and had good experiences on the bp with it.
