Got it back on four wheels with the new water pump, timing belt, and tensioners.
Installed the new fuel/circuit opening relay, plug wires, vaf, and o2 sensor. It still won't start without rotating the distributor back. I drove it and it still does the same thing. Give it any sort of gas and it bucks and backfires. I can feather the clutch and partially accelerate to about 15 mph to get back to my garage.
I can rev it in the garage and its fine.
