Alright. So the shop checked the timing and agreed that it's set right. Checked the crank, cam gears, cyl 1, distributor... everything lined up.
He thinks the distributor is just where it needs to be. He removed the bolts and kept rotating every direction. He said there is no detonation where it's at and it's where it runs best.
Also, he pinched the fuel return line and the misfiring stopped. He said it needs more pressure with it being turbocharged (which isn't true if the gtx runs at a lower pressure). I'm assuming if pressure is low, it's an issue with the regulator? Or could it be the solenoid valve?
I guess I'm going to hook the fuel pressure gauge up to it and see what it's reading (again) before I replace the regulator. That way I'll know if it's some other issue if the pressure reads right.
Any thoughts?

you can install a fuel pump yourself- put in an aeromotive stealth pump & call it a day- *******Do not put in a walbro*********
if that fixes it cool. if not i would say you probably need a new engine harness there might be a short or something in it---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

Well it wouldn't be that the fuel pump isn't capable of the right pressure... If it wasn't capable, then pinching the return line wouldn't increase the pressure. It's gotta be the regulator. I'm about to go pick it up and see what I can figure out.
