Ehhh . Ehhh. I'll think about it. I'm trying to keep it as stock looking as I can and I hate aftermarket players so... Eh I like money too. Choices... I'll think about it.
So I decided to give the intercooler liquid set up a break while I calculate a few more things. I also need like 500$ if I want to make a coil tank set up in the trunk. I'm making an oil vapor canister today. If anyone wants one for a decent price, baffled and all hit my inbox. Here a pic of where it should sit.i t can have whatever size fittings you wish. The filter media is probably going to use scotch pads because they're flat.
Nope, I have the attention span of a teenager. Actually I decided to make a decent water/air set up without the extra 4 litres of capacity. Took a bunch of things I already had and bought some used coolant tanks from the graveyard and found one that I liked. Came out super inexpensive and it works, to a certain extent. I drove the car a few times and it was fun. Pulls hard and dangerously, just like I like them.
I also lost my speedometer gear in the street tonight. Don't ask how, I just did alright. I also lost the fork and plastic seal for the electronic sensor. So i'll get those on the list of things to buy or I'll dig deep and get a fancy digital dash and a mx3 rear wheel bearing. Also managed to blow a coupler off the intake system. I'm pretty sure it was on tight. I'm going through logs and will probably align and tune this car very very soon.
Other things I did, Fixed an issue as to where battery was 13-14v and ecu said 14-20v. Oil pressure sensor took a **** and scared me to death. Mechanical gauge test says shes healthy.
I've installed a rear mx3 v6 abs wheel hub and noticed that there is a bracket and plug in the chassis made for a speed sensor but I can't find anything in the collision manual about ever being a 323 with abs. Anyone know whats up? Why is the chassis ready for abs wires? I might hit the yard this weekend and attempt to take a sensor out of a 2000's protégé or protégé5. I currently have a cam(maybe crank ) sensor from another car that I thought I could adapt but it seems like a pain compared to other model sensors I've seen online. Mx3 sensors seem discontinued or way over priced anyway.
My driver's side axle has an ABS ring on it. I'm sure there is some chassis that are ABS equipped with which one could plug and play axles, but I always thought there were ABS models somewhere in the period specific variants..

Is your driver side axle aftermarket? Often aftermarket companies will install abs rings in order to accommodate for more vehicles for the same part number. It doesn't guarantee that your vehicle has an abs version.
Hey! but I just found out that 1994/95 Ford escorts could have abs. But their sensors are freaking overpriced. I'll have to hit the yards this weekend.
Oh and mostly says discontinued on Canadian ford sites.
