    Clutch questions

ok I am looking for a clutch for a G series tranny when I find that they make a clutch for the 4wd model and the 2wd model. I would think that the 2wd model being more common wold be the cheaper one. But not in this case.

Bottom line is there a difference between the 4wd and 2wd clutch? If they are the same then I am going with the cheaper one.

O and its a centerforce Dual friction clutch. anyone had any problems with them, or heard good things about them?

had one on a basically stock power output BP, didn't like it, and slipped within 2 years. I'd go ACT, or if you're really pimp, get a tilton

I was looking at act, but the best price I have found is 380 or so. I guess if it slips within 2 years then its worth the extra cash. Tilton? Gonna have to look them up.

                375 is not bad.

I like their price for eibach springs..... $215
but they say that the springs are 1.75 drop, I thought that they were 1???
I need something less that my sprint springs, they dropped it 2" and I bottom out all the time. Apparently the ZX2 struts cant handle over a 1 in drop.

Dudes!!! Ok.. this is a suggestion from up north!
Get a second pressure plate from a scrap yard.
Bring both pressure plates to a clutch shop and a clutch disk and flywheel.
Get the guy to install a new Organic lining on the disk and double the pressure plate.

Take the tabs from both plates to put on to one.
I had this on my 1.6 turbo stylus.
running around 250lbs tork and it never slipped.
+++++ it's smouth and it's verry street friendly. and cheep..
about 500$ cdn for it all.
