    Oil pressure sender thread depth?

Does anybody know what the thread size / length is for the stock oil pressure sender? I would like to hook up an oil pressure gauge, but I was wondering which size to sender to use. I can't find my spare sender, unfortunately.

    Thanks!

Well it's definetely M10 diameter, but not 1.25 pitch size. I couldn't find a 1.0 pitch size bolt to test, which is what the VDO senders are.

I think I'm just gonna try my luck.

I am 95% sure that it is 1/8" BSPT (british pipe thread). I just tried to screw the stock sensor into my Defi BSPT to NPT adapter and it screwed in, no problem. Let us know if you figure out what it is for sure.

If you can't differentiate between brake and break, you should go back to school

Bringing this up from the dead, but wondering if when you guys installed your oil pressure gauges - did you get a BSPT to NPT adapter or simply thread in the NPT adapter and ruin the threads on the sender?
