High Idle?

So my car is at idle around 2 grand at best it will idle at 15000 can anyone help me find what the delio is with that...im wastin gas like nobodys bussness

u might have to rea djust your idle, on the TB. Turn the car on, and get a flathead, and screw the little screw on the idle Control down, until it goes to the right RPM, around 900-1k rpm ( i think). Than turn the car off, Unplug the sensor from the side..(opposite side of the idle control) And wallah it should stay there. But if it bounces from, u mihg twant to check your vaccum lines. And invest in a small Fuel filter, for the PCv hose, and moutn that in between the PCV, and the INtake manifold...that helped the most with my idle..

so i put the fuel filter in the pcv valve ....if you dont know thats the tube that goes from the left side of your valve cover to the center of your intake manifold .....it worked like a charm my idle went down to about 1k and its soundin alot quieter at stoplights

yea that helps alot...you will be suprised all the oil will build up in that filter in a couple of months. I just changed mine 2 weeks ago..
