Ease of BP Installation

Ok so heres the deal. i gots to convince my friend dat installin a BP into my 92 Auto DX is easy. so i told him i will prove it by asking the guys from club protege. so how easy is it from a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the hardest. i say its a 1 really. how bout you guys?

If a "1" would be putting a new B8 SOHC in, then the BP would be a "2"... If you ask me...

Depends if your going to swap AT to MT with the BP swap.....

BP swap on your existing SOHC tranny...... probably a 2 to a 3 varying with experiece and tool available.

yours wasn't auto was it?

if so since yours is a 2nd gen, it gets a 7 b/c even fewer ppl have tried swapping one of those.

Hell yeah it was. Why do you think I'm swapping pedals, and shifters, etc.

BTW, OCD-SPEED already did this swap, but he used an F-series box. I'm using the "uber" G-series tranny. Now that's a first.

When I asked if I could do that, people told me that it would be extremely unwise (mating a BP to an automatic transmission). Just a waste. :p:
