Crank Pulley key Problem? (pics inside)

Whats going on guys? I haven't posted in a while, if im not at work im working on the mazda or honda.

Well heres my question. I am about to put my motor back in the car, and was wondering if the key is supposed to be this far in. I would have thought that it was supposed to sit flush witht the bolt....

    Here are the pics.

So should I get another key made....or what. I figure if I use that one the key will wiggle out to the bolt, and it wont hold the timing belt pulley to the crank very well. Am I wrong?

Thanks guys I can always come here if I need help.

Theres a few pics of the motor here, for you guys that wanna take a look at it.

I understand that, the bolts are on there so I can pull it off easily...... My question is about the crank key. Will it, or will it not wiggle out? Here is a pic....

I don't want there to be unnessecary stress on the timing belt pulley. My old crank was tore up because of the key. The 89/90 Crank problem.

It doesn't look like alot of space in the picture, but it is...

There is only like a 1/4" gap on mine, if that. I don't think it will come out anyhow. It's held in by the crank bolt

So there is gap in everybody elses. Thats what I was wondering. Yeah I know the bolt will hold it in, but was just wondering if there would be added stress on the pulley if it wiggled out to the bolt.

                Thanks!
