Well the escort should be good for parting out soon so believe me ill let everyone know the second the opertunity opens. I was at his shop a few days ago and he hasnt been using the escort in a while so...in a week or so i should be expecting a phone call.. heh (rotors were all rusty)
And BTW im planning on doing a full drop w/tranny and all....i wont even have to retime the engine but i WILL clean the crap out of it while its out
I would like to upgrade the following during the swap
Engine mounts - I want the engine to BARELY move at higher rpms
Axles - basically stronger
Im also looking into a better fuel managment system. I would like to ditch the VAF and get some sort of stand alone setup to get the car ready for forced induction. Im sure im going to have to replace injectors and such. Trying to keep this as cheap as possible which isnt the best route. heh At least im doing all the labor and get complete access to tools/lifts. Thanks for any reply.
