Actually, the Hub Assembly only (the hub and the four studs) was $98.15 with tax from the Ford dealer. The bearing itself was 35 from Napa, and the inside seal (which I didn't use as the original is still very good) is 8 bucks at autozone.

I'm still wondering if Mazda kept the original smaller sized holes in the hubs for the Protege, or if they did the same thing that Ford did for the Escort. The easiest way to tell would be to measure a new wheel stud at a Mazda dealer. If the knurl is 13mm on a new stud, then they're probably the same. But, if they are 15mm knurls, then they changed too. Unfortunately, the closest one is over an hour for me. Anyone closer or stopping into one anyway that could give me a hand?

          This manifold?

I believe that was made either by an individual or by a company called Larsen. Unfortutnately, it's unavailable anymore, but I keep the picture so when I get up the gumption I can try to mimic it and build my own, if I need to. Plus it looks really neat!
