So Ive been looking at the MS and where to buy it. I found this kit. What else would I need to make it work with my stock ecu? I don't think it comes with the map sensor or the temp sensors, or the connecting cables, or any wiring. So is this just the ms ecu? Does anyone know any where (have links) to get it cheaper or in complete kits. Ive seen complete kits but they sell for like 500 bucks. Is this a reasonable price? Also they show a realy board, and a feed back board. Are they necessary and what does the feed back board actually do? Thank you guys so much for all your help. Im just really trying to get my car to run at its full potential.

I have been looking at diyautotune.com. They sell everything you need to get set up exept for the sensors. The map sensor usualy comes in the megasquirt kit. The relay board can make setup a litle easyer. I have never heard of a feedback board but I have heard of a stimulator board. The stimulator board helps you test the megasquirt unit once you assemble it.

I bought the 2.2 kit from him.......Awesome kit he just sometimes takes a long time for shipping. The map sensor is included and the db37 connector is included so you can make a harness.'99 Miata - Begi manifold, T3, 2.5'' exhaust, ebay fmic, 460cc injectors, megasquirt, LC1, and toyota coil on plug conversion..

Can you just run the wiring harnes to the ecu, except map sensor and air sensor? When using a wide band how do you moniter it, and what type of controller are you using or just the sensor wired in place of the stock 02? DO you need to use a GM coolant temp sensor or con you just tap into one of the stock ones? If you can which one do you use? The 1 or 2 wire one? Is anyone running DIS- coil packs? How do you go about wiring it in?Last edited by 92_2_fast; 08-14-2005, 09:54 AM.Too bad I have AWD and you don't!

Ya you can just run everything to the ecu. What air sensor? I think you can use a program called easytherm to adjust the megasquirt to work with the mazda sensors if you have to. I am going to be using edis-4 on mine. It is only 2 extra wires to the megasquirt and then coil pack an vr sensor. her is a link

This is Jerry from DIYAutoTune.com. I don't want to post the same info twice so I'll just link to a bunch of MS related info here: http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/show...d=1#post228874
BTW-- Mikeflys1 -- who did you get your kit from that had slow shipping? I can quote one of my customers who thanked me for my 'Super Speedy Ninja Shipping'
I almost always ship within 1 business day.
