Swapping to coil packs?

I was curious if anyone with a bp has swapped from a distributor to a coil pack? I tried searching coil pack and got nothing helpful.... if anyone has any good ideas on how this can be accomplished let me know

You'll need an engine management system that can control individual coil packs. If you've got a BP with a disty, stay with it, as you can advance your ignition timing to need. When you go with coil packs, unless you have full ignition control like in a stand-alone, it really serves no purpose.

If you're determined, you could always use a Miata ECU.

well i have access to a modified miata ecu and wire harness and sensor for practically free and since the bp i bought doesn't have the distributor and i don't think it even has the coil i was considering trying the swap
