    CV joint question! compatibility?

OK I dont think I asked this board yet but is it possible to use the CV joints from a 91-96 Escort GT 1.8L standard into a 91 323 1.6L standard?? will the escort ones fit in there?? I have the EGT front spindles for the bigger brakes but I dont know if they will fit into the tranny? ANYBODY??

The reason I ask is cause I know the EGT ones are beefier and cause I am putting a BPT in my 323 soon and since my CV joints went on my 323 I dont want to have to buy 4 in the end!

If you have the SOHC box (F series) then no they won't fit. However, you don't need to change the outer CV end on your standard ones to fit the bigger brakes.

When you fit the BPT, your drive shafts are going to be the least of your worries.
