    Exhaust Question

ok, so im searching around looking for stuff for my car, and i stumble upon this, if im correct(and i usually assume i'm not) but didnt the 88-89 323 GTX utilize the b6 engine? so with some kind of modification, would this exhaust perhaps work on our cars?

    Different chassis, different drivetrain layout.

You would hate to spend 320$+ on that exhaust, and than have to cut it up...

For that price, you might as well get a custom exhaust done.

          I'd go this route.

Unless you have a massive hook up at a muffler shop where they can mod it for dirt cheap... it just isnt worth it.

          Nice find though.

yeah, i've been thinking of the custom route, i was just trying to figure out if it would just be cheaper to modify this one, but oh well, custom it is, thanks for the input

ok, i didnt want to start a new topic so i decided i'd just add into this one, i was poking around the toda racing website and realized that they had quite a few products listed for the B6 engine, will any of these products work with the B6 out of a 323?

They should regardless if the car is a Mazda or a Capri, as long as it's a B6 motor.

stock B6 in a 323 - depends on the part.
The SOHC motor in the 323 is an econo motor, and those TODA products are for the DOHC B6 in the 90-93 miatas and in the 94/95 MX-3's. Probably works in the B6 in the old BF's, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

You could always swap to a DOHC b6, but most will just swap for the BP and enjoy the extra displacement.
