Okay, the other day my friend decided to spray off my engine and water was sitting on top where the spark plugs sit. I hurried as fast as i could to get the shop vac so i could fix what his dumbutt did but it was too late. The water had gotten into the first 2 little seals that cover the spark plug already. He started the car and it sounded fine, then we drove down to the junkyard and my car like lost all power and sounded like a lawnmower. When we left the junkyard, my car barely had enough power to take off. But miracoulously i made it home and the next day my car acted fine. It seems a little laggy now though(like weaker). Is there anything i should do?

i had this problem to in the summer time. all i did was parked my car in the sun with the spark plug wires out and let it dry for a couple hours, then stuck probe in to make sure no water was there, then replaced the plugs, and cleaned the inside of the wire with a q-tip and varsole, then re-lubed it with silicone.
good luck, and yea, they do sound like a honda...i mean lawnmower.
my truck use to run on 3 cylinders every once and a while because of a re-occuring hard to explain problem, and it sounded like a subaru downshifts sounded sweet with my magnaflow exhaust. hah
