    As far as I can tell, that isn't a part used in the U.S. by Mazda...

      it has 3 plugs so it is an auto tranny ecu, since the first 2 letters is the engine code it does go to a 1.8L

          I was going to say, I know thats not a 96gt PCM. The 96 has more plugs.

            WOW! Awesome research! I know this is a little off subject from the original post but when I swap in my BP which I just remembered that the BP I bought earlier is Auto how is that going to effect my swap in my manual trans 323?

              Only major difference between manual and auto motors is the TPS senser.
