ok so i got some calculations for figuring out the desplacement and imputed the new piston size. with putting in the 84.5mm piston with stock 85.mm stroke it puts displacement to 1990cc so a 2.0L, its 5cc less then the flyin miata stroker kit.

so BPT323 i wasent too far off, 5cc isnt all that much. lol

so knowing you can buy weisco forged pistons that put you up to a 2.0L, is it worth it to buy the flyin miata stroker kit (other than for the crank). do you think by having a different stroke you could really gain that much more power? maybe quicker in the RPM's any thoughts

I think you made a math error, last time I calculated it 84.5 pistons netted you something like 1900cc's, 85s were like 1930cc's

Also, the replika maschinen stroker is about 1000 bucks cheaper than the flyin miata one as it uses an offset ground stock crank instead of a replacement. Also you do realize that the Miata kit includes pistons because part of that 200cc is bore? To hit a solid 2 liters takes 85mm bore and 88mm stroke.

the Flyin Miata stroker kit is made with 84.5mm pistons. i used an automatic displacement calculoator. so all i did is put in the proper numbers. also i had the shop im taking my motor to figure it out, they also said it would be just under a 2.0L. iv talked with several people who deal with this and they all say it will be close to a 2.0. so maybe it wasent my calculations that were off.

what 85mm Pistons are you running? did you have to alter the head or headgasket.
