yes, i did search, but couldn't find anything. anybody know off hand the size of the transmission fluid drain plug on an F-series tranny? Its big, and I dont have a socket that fits it, and i can't find it online or in the fsm....thanks

You could pull you plug or a j/y one and take it to a parts store that has a measurement device to determine the exact thread/pitch.

this post just brought me back to the hell that day was - i had to drive 30 miles to get a 23 mm socket....autozone, advance auto, even home depot didnt carry that large....finally an hour later i found it at lowes...they are teh **** when it comes to socket ranges, trust me - me and the pro did the distance for it!!!!!
