    pulling a bp...am i missing something?

hey guys, its been almost 2 years since i've pulled a BP out, and i'm replacing the one in my EGT because of a blow headgasket and other stuff.

so i've already disconnected the harness, and anything else attached to the engine

now the problem, i've taken out what appears to be all the bolts that hold the engine and tranny together...but it wont seperate...am i forgetting something here???

do i have to remove the starter? are there bolts behind it? and there seems to be a 10mm and a 12mm under the tranny that go upwards, are those holding it in too? i just dont wanna take to much apart.

    thanks guys.

I think there's a large engine/transaxle bolt both at the front close to the front mount bracket and another either next to the starter or behind it. Just closely inspect where the engine meets the transaxle. If its covered in oil, it may be tough to find that last bolt or two.

yes the starter has to be removed to remove the motor, the bolts go thru the starter right into the bell housing

awesome, got all the bolts, the motor SHOULD be unhooked from the tranny, i can pry it about 1/4 inch away, so tomorrow i get a lift, and try it out.
