yesterday coming back to toronto from hamilton i had a spark plug blow outta my sohc:wow motor i checked the rest of them once i parked the car they were all a lil bit loose i know i tightened them down after the spring tuning i did .it just scared the hell outta me i was pullin 6000 rpm when it blew out doing 120-30 kph anyone kwon how the hell that could happen ... anywayz im gonna check my head today at work and make sure its ok if not .....im gonna be dohc in a day or two

its a scary sound. my f-150 did it 4 times before i decided to put in larger thread inserts.mods: engine: fm stroker lightened and knifedged crank, 11:1, custom crank scraper, fully p&p head and intake mani, bored throttle body, flowed and matched stock injectors, rx7 vaf, apexi safc, gude race cams, modded ecu 8200 fuel cutoff, blaster coil, clutchmasters stage 3 clutch, fidanza fly wheel and timeing gears, msp diff, custom shortram in a cold air box
suspension: s/r struts intrack springs and intrax sway bars 15x6.5 rims kumho mx tires 205 50 r 15

i bought a bp a while ago off mike_moss i have all the parts to do it but the cash is kinda lacking so at the moment im just gonna stay sohc... on top of that my car aint no ordinary sohc it pulls like hell on the top end...
i can keep up with a vr6 i can take protege gt's so id say its running ok at the momentas a great man once told me, speed doesn't kill, sudden stops do....
