Short Ram Air Intake for Protege

Hi, sorry for my confusion of wanting to find a cold air intake.

I actually meant...Short Ram Air Intake.

I was wondering if any manufacturers makes a Short Ram Air Intake for the 1st Gen Mazda Protege??

    Thx.

you can look at how everything is routed now under the hood . and look for one that almost will fit but would need to be tweeked to get the proper fit

Some say Accord some say Integra some say look on ebay. I believe weapon r has one but be prepared to spend a arm and a leg for it. I went ahead and went the ebay route for a protege cold - air intake. But the best choice is to get an elusive cold-air intake for a MX-3 off of E-bay that includes everything you will ever need.

i need a short ram air intake, not a cold air intake cause it gets really cold in the winter where i live. so, i dun wanna have to unintall and install the cold air intake for summer and winter seasons respectively.

get a 90-93 accord short ram. bolt it in, and away you go, depending on the size 2.5"will fit right in. the 3" will need about 2" cut out of the middle.

                      Oh yeah?

This is for a 90-94 Protege:

90-93 Accord cold air intake(if you want to keep it a short ram intake, don't use the 90* bend):

                      The colder the better.

I use an Accord CAI all year round. We have cold winters with lots of snow, and hot summers.

yeah that protege one is junk I bought that one cuz it was cheaper than buying a new air intake tube. If you will take a look at the huge hole next to the nipple , the intake came with nothing to attach anything there ! Its just a big frickin hole !! I had to cover it up with a hose connector and some hose clamps. its junk!! The only thing good about it is it got me through state inspection. Now if you want an intake with all the bells and whistles and has all the proper hook-ups find a MX-3 cold air intake on E-Bay. Did I say look , I meant search cuz this one only shows up from time to time.
