    RX7 VAF tuning problems

I tried to check the voltage on the o2 sensor but it gave me very sporadic readings, useless. I set it to 6 clicks counter clockwise and it seems to run well, but I'm not sure if it's running as well as it COULD, or if it's going to affect my gas mileage. What do you guys think?

to properly tune so you're actually gaining HP you should have it dyno tuned.

I attemped to do the O2 test when I first put the AFM on my car and got sparatic results as well, so now I just do the trial and error method...tune the AFM, drive the car, see how it runs, repeat.

Dyno = 60$. Maybe once I get a header and stuff... but the car SEEMS to run better, however I'm worried about gas mileage.

I just got 35.6 mpg with the VAF. lolz, maybe it's running lean. It seems to run well but it can't be ideal.

            Damn, that's good MPG.

The o2 readings are going to be sporadic, as your VAF is constantly adjusting, causing the readings to vary.

You just want it to land in a close range.
