The turbo engine that was in the Mercury Capri is a B6T, not a BPT. It's a 1.6 DOHC Turbo. As far as Miata's, besides finding one with an aftermarket turbo kit on it, the only turbo one you'd come across is a Mazdaspeed Miata, but you'd need alot of luck to find that and I'm not 100% sure that's it's even a variant of the BPT.

Nope, the Capri XR2 was a 1.6 DOHC Turbo. Here are the specs from it....

          Powertrain Options and Availability
Both 4-cylinder engines displaced 1.6 liters and featured dual-overhead cams, but the turbocharged version installed in the XR2 produced 32 more horsepower and an extra 41 pound-feet of torque. Five-speed manual shift was standard, and only the base model could be equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission, as an option.

dohc I4 1.6 liter 94 Hp 5-speed manual: 25 miles per gallon /31 miles per gallon
4-speed automatic: 23 miles per gallon / 26 miles per gallon
