has anyone done a tranny swap from auto to 5 speed manual on a 1994 protege lx with a BP motor?

im going to swap it out here soon but im wondering how hard it is

It has been done a million times.

I hate the question "how hard is it?" That is such a vague question that completely varies from person to person. It would be easy for me, but I don't know about what kind of experience, mechanical skills, tools, ect. you have so I can't tell you how hard it will be for you.

I was going to have a shop do it so that it could be done alot faster any idea what it would cost for all the parts?

Transmission and mounts, axels and halfshaft, clutch kit and flywheel, clutch line, slave and master cylinder, shift linkage and shifter assembly, clutch pedal cage, speedo cable..............................that would be a good start.

im having a shop do it for me.....my buddy had his 240sx done there and they have a payment plan so i will most likly get it done there.......but thanks for all the help
