    walbro fuel pump

    ok i searched already. I just got done reading ryans how-to on installing the rx7 pump. here's the deal. I heard that there is a direct drop in pump. does anybody know the part number?

    you just had to go and be impatient. i told you i would look for it and let you know.

    these are the numbers i found when looking for a pump. this is off of idenity_x's thread, and he said that it was just a straight bolt in.

    GSS315 with 400-866 kit.

    if anybody else knows of a kit that goes directly in, please chime in.

      thats where i got mine with all the gaskets, the sock, the pump and a new clip for the pump, mine was for the escort, im not sure what is different between the protege and the escort, i always though they were the same (other than the sending unit itself.

        do you have a link to his thread so that others can see. this would help more members unless ppl want too wait a few months till i get mine in to see the results.

          ok. from my google search that walbro pump number is showing on a couple sites that it for a 88-92 ford probe gt,mazda mx6 turbo.







          but this thread is saying rx7.


          which one is it? does anybody have walbros phone number or a way of contacting them? i'll make the call too find out

            pastor pro's pump was bolt on we had to finess (sp?) the pump into place alittle but there was no cutting or anything to the like. I got the p/n somewhere...

                just had to work the pump back into the cradle, there was maybe 1/8 of an inch difference in angle between the pump and the cradle. the pump was an rx-7 walboro (sp?) pump, ill find the part number for ya tomarrow, im too tired from pulling my transmition to think about where i put it
