    is the T3/T4 turbo better than the VJ20 and VJ12?

    depends on the application if it's better or not. the VJ12 isn't worth it all the way around unless you're looking for super fast spool and low boost for just a little bump for every day driving.

    that looks like the manifolds 1.9 guys were having made from...a company i can't remember. also reminds me of a flipped miata manifold. and its manifold, not header.

      yea i kno manifold not header just mistyped it........

      im building a turbo kit for more power

        From what i've heard, the Vj20 gets very boring after a while since it can only handle about 200whp. But its perfect for a starter turbo, and is very streetable. You can also make it a hybrid turbo with some VF subaru turbos.

        Now, a nice 50 trim 42/48 T3 turbo would be perfect . Easy to find, easy to rebuild, lots of power, lots of reliability, and lots of different sizes 42/48, 42/46, 50trim, 60trim (super 60 yum). ect....

        T3/T4s or even just T4s are meant for a lot more power, but more higher up in the powerband (lots of boost lag) so its more meant for the track compared to a daily driver.

            that thing is nice. almost makes me want to have one made for my GTR motor.......... hmmmmmmmmm it would be nice to have unlimited funds

                    i know the vj23 has the nice style manifold, but its still not a stainless tubular steel ramhorn manifold
