4wd protege at the junk yard. no title

Hey i found this 4wd protege at the junkyard and it has no title. how much would it cost to get a new one? or what would i have to go thru. to get a new one. i've asked all my friends around here and they don't know jack. but my sister said something about a salvaged title.

i want this 4wd drive protege for like autocross and stuff and put the bpt motore with the gtx tranny in it. it would be a bad ass car. i just about **** my self when they said it only has a blown engine. the 1.8 sohc. and they said the drivetrain is alll good. but just to be safe i should take a look for myself.

but i mostly want the title so it could be a street sleeper

it depends on the state. try calling your DMV or checking their website.

Go to the DMV near you and get straight poop from the source. Do what it takes to get that thing back on the road, man. They are rare as hens teeth and if you do that swap I guarantee you'll like it...
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

what junkyard in kalispell did you find it?
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.
