    Dont know what to swap in a BP Doch or a BPT GTX

    Can somebody tell me witch one would be better for my 1992 Protege DX and what would i need to do the whole swap. (Ex. engine, trans, ecu, ect.)

    bp is a stock 1.8L out of an lx.
    gtx is a turbo motor from japan.

      im swapin my lx for a bpt!!! yeah... just gotta save a bit more...

      no my lx wont be for sale... its gonna get perfomace built...

        It just really all depends on what your looking for. If your going to do a swap,imo, save a few extra dollars and get a bpt. Its better just to do that than dropping in a bp and later wanting to boost.

          swap in a bp then save some money and put in a T3/T4 turbo

            Although...just swapping in a BP might be more convenient...depending on how much you know about the engine. Also, would you really be able to use the GTX's full power? or is it gonna be just a daily driver? re-think things through as you may regret them in the future (speaking from experience).
