i have heard of people running a miata clutch on a FWD bp flywheel... with no problems.

i have not, but there was a guy on FEOA running a miata clutch on a EGT flywheel.

I'll be running a miata clutch in my BP swapped 323
Got in months ago. You can use the pressure plate and clutch, all the guts besides the throw out bearing. It'll work with a normal FWD BP flywheel...SOOO i would imagine a RWD Miata flywheel will work with a FWD BP clutch and ****!
