    10.5-11:1 pistons N/A BP

just wondering if i could run 10.5-11:1 compression on a mostly stock BP with 92 octane safely. Any info on high compression is appreciated.

you definately could. not sure what kind of performance you'd be able to get out of it with the stock ECU though.

MS2 would be an excellent choice for a built NA BP. its a standalone... nothing like a stock ecu... at all.

would there be much of a difference in 9.5:1 to 10.5-11:1. I have the miata ones soon to be installed but recently thought about switching to aftermarket ones.

1.5 bump in compression is definitely noticeable. I'm still kinda questioning whether 11:1 would be OK on pump gas because I know it's getting extremely close to not working on a v8.

matt (the guy who built my MS2 ) is running 11:1 (i think) in his mx3, running MS2 of course. i'll have to ask him what octane it likes.
