will the axles from a zx2 work in a BG? and will the cross member that holds the tranny up fit to.

the zx2 uses a mazda G-series transmission, just like the pro lx and EGT. just a different bellhousing.
the drivers side axle should fit, passenger side could be different because the intermediate shaft could be different... since its bolting to a totally different motor. the crossmember should fit, but why are you replacing it? also what do you mean by crossmember? are you talking about the front subframe or the bar that the trans mounts bolt to?

nope zx2 has a ford motor and thus has a ford bolt pattern bell housing will not bolt up either get a ford motor or a mazda tranny casemods: engine: fm stroker lightened and knifedged crank, 11:1, custom crank scraper, fully p&p head and intake mani, bored throttle body, flowed and matched stock injectors, rx7 vaf, apexi safc, gude race cams, modded ecu 8200 fuel cutoff, blaster coil, clutchmasters stage 3 clutch, fidanza fly wheel and timeing gears, msp diff, custom shortram in a cold air box

youre thinking of the wrong thing, its the subframe that has the extra brace. the crossmember he has is the same as a normal BG one and will work fine.

no you cant use an f-series bellhousing, yes you *should* be able to swap the bellhousing to a BP g-series.
