will this oil pump fit?

i bought an oil pump in october and finally got to the point on my engine where i needed to install the oil pump and the part that attaches to the crank is much to large of a diameter to work with my crank so i obviously got the wrong one. The company might exchange for another one but they can't find a pump for the smaller diameter crank shaft.. i finally found a part number from Hi tech and they cross refferenced with cleavite and think the above one will work.... can anyone verify this? please

this pump fits the 1.6L and 1.8L engines that have the small nose crank. that's years up to '91-'92 or so (?). at one point the cars popped up to a larger crank and keyway to solve reliability issues and this oil pump won't work with that crank. the small nose crank engines have a four slot pulley and the large nose crank engines have an eight slot pulley.

He's referring to the Miata's crank pulleys - they had/have slots in 'em

we need the weight of one off a b3 engine also cause jrally used that on a bp... i might also if it is light enough

so if this pump will definantly work then i am going to swap it for my current one then try and send it in to have the hole pump cryo'd
