I am looking at getting a 93 sohc protege and i was wondering if a mx3 1.6 sohc tranny would work in it or not. thanks

they should bolt up pretty straight-forward AFAIK. -
should work fine, but you will need the flywheel and clutch from the mx3 i believe.

What Jon said. You have to have the matching flywheel/clutch for the transmission you're using. I believe all the mounts are the same aswell. Not sure about the axles, since it is an F-Series tranny i would suspect they're the same.
