    Please help

Having a problem and need some help. I have a 1990 with the 1.8 DOHC. with 58,000 original miles.

Here's the problem. When the car is cold and I start it up, as soon as I put it in gear the rpm's drop big time and then come back up. I just replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter and oil. I added a cold air kit but it was doing this before. I'm new to these kind of cars and have no idea what it could be.

    Thanks

check out your timing, and make sure you dont have any vaccum leaks to start with. Assides from that i'm not familiar with auto BPs.
