    No Constant Clutch Pressure

I was out driving today, doing my rounds, and I get to a light, and the Pro won't donwnshift into ANY gear. My clutch feels limp, like no pressure at all. If I pumped it, without having my foot on the brake, enough pressure would build up to were I could get the Pro into 1st, but I would have to clutchless shift from 2-5, and clutchless downshift because it would lose pressure. It I sit with my foot lightly on the clutch, it will steadly go down all the way to the floor. What could this be? This car gives me promblems every month, and if it didn't get 22 mgp around town, and 37 on the highway, I would junk it. Does anybody have any idea what it going on? Sadly, this is its current position intill its fixed.

well first thing i would do is inspect your clutch master cylinder clutch line and clutch slave cylinder for leaks. but honestly just replace them all and youll be good to go.

Same problem I had with mine. First I replaced the slave cyl that helped but then it started doing it again so I replaced the clutch master cyl. Works like a charm now. Like lisat said, replace both the slave and the master cyl. I think I paid around 100 for both from autozone. The master is kind of a pita because of its location but it shouldn't take but 2 hrs to do both. Good luck and let us know how it went.

edit: there's no need to get rid of a car that needs a little work every once in a while. All that work you put into your car adds character to it and makes you appretiate it more

I don't mind putting the money into it, but being a sophmoor in college, money is kind of short around here , esp for a problem every month. First the alt, then the battery, timing belt, another alt, etc, etc.

Yep, its the master then. Same deal with me. Changed the slave then had to change the master a day later. I think yours was a little more gone than mine though by the way you're talking.

Yep. Here goes the problem. Replaced the Clutch master cylinder today and now it shifts so smoothly. I can to that. To bad that when I was under the Pro, the boot on my axles were torn, and there is grease thrown everywhere, so that'll be the next thing to be replaced. Does anyone know where I can get some quality ones for a decent price.
