    Omg !!!

does anyone have any pointer in getting the center bolt out that holds the harmonic ballencer and the pulley boss on the crank shaft. I've been struggling with this for about an hour and it just won't break loose.

When I replaced my crank pulley with an underdrive pulley I had to put a breaker bar on it and brace it on the engine then tweak the starter. Worked great.
Block is almost done, cylinders are overboard for Weisco pistons, pro gram billet main caps have been line bored, and my chinese EDT rods have been machined to right specs. Everything has been balanced.

just make sure you unplug your coil before you do this, so the engine doesnt accidentally start!

Unfortunately this has already come to mind and had no success. I have also taken off the inspection shild on the tranny and jammed a screw driver in the teeth on the fly wheel adn that didn't work either.

It should work unless your doing it wrong. Jon recommended this and it worked after struggling with it for hours! I used a semi breaker bar against the control arm on the top and made sure it was nice and tight so when the start kicked in it wouldn't break something!

MasterBanter yes, the breaker bar just rests against the control arm and the torque from the starter should break it loose as long as you have a good battery. Which I did not and now it's dead.

I use air tools and never have any problems removing any bolts. I also have a dewalt 1/2" electric impact and Ive used that on many tasks and it doesnt fail me either.

If you dont have these tools you can got to a Home Depot or Lowes and they rent these tools.

easy thing to do is remove a spark plug on a cylinder thats on the compression stroke and put some rope down there and it will defiantly prevent the motor from turning and is pretty safe to boot
