    exhaust leak???

I have an exhaust leak in my manifold, when I got the car running it was leaking between the manifold and the down pipe. I replaced the gasket btween the two and it went away BUT a new leak sprung out of the manifold gasket at the head. I replace that gasket, removed the manifold and wire brushed the gasket flanges with an electric drill and then rough sand them as well and that includes the down pipe flange and where the gasket seats on the head and it still leaks on the passenger side of the head rite between the two bolts on the end.

Either its warped or you REALLY screwed up the torquing order of those bolts and thus now its not on right / possibly warped. In the book it shows the order but when i did it twice before i didn't know there was a order and i just did the usual "X" pattern and things have been fine sooooooo...

I had sealing issues with my B8-ME when I put it in my aspire, I used this stuff called muffler mender between the gaskets and flanges and let it set overnight. Not a single leak at all!
