Maybe I am missing something. I can shift my car through all gears when it is off, but when it is on, its like pulling healthy teeth! I thought my car was having a slave cylinder/master cylinder problem until speaking with a friend who is a mechanic. He says that there is a electrical safety switch that does this and if I disconnect it I wont have any more problems. this is on a 1991 Mazda Protege Dx 5spd with 281k. Please any help would be helpful! Is this the clutch neutral switch by the bolts of the master cylinder on the firewall? or blah? im not really sure what to think anymore.....
