yes, it should. the BF GTX transmission is nearly identical to the US 4wd tranny.

actually, the 4wd flywheel is identical to the BP. in all specs. the BF is the 1.6, different. can't remember exact specs right now, would have to look it up. but I know the parts are compatible, as long as you use the 1.6 pp and disc. the 1.8 stuff doesn't fit.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

            yeah, I read that afterwords.

I just want to make sure he doesn't try to mismatch 1.8 and 1.6 clutch/flywheel parts.

wait so if I use a BP Flywheel then I should be alright? Would I need a different clutch and pp for the GTX transmission? Or is the spline count the same for a normal BP Clutch? BG GTX transmission with BP clutch pp and flywheel is what I am asking now

with the GTX transmission you can use any clutch that goes with a G series tranny. you just have to match the flywheel to the clutch.

Splines are the same for all.
you can use the BP clutch and flywheel with the BG GTX trans.

BF clutch is 225mm outer, 150mm inner.
BG clutch is ...****, jumpdrive just died. doh! can't check pdf. I want to say 215mm outer.

If I recall right though, the throwout bearing must match the tranny, but don't hold me to that. I believe the clutch fork on the 4WD trannys are designed differently, hence needing the bearing to match.

anyways, there's a couple differences, but nothing really stopping you from using the BF GTX flywheel. But the BP flywheel also works. Its what I have right now, BP wheel, clutch, pressure plate. When I eventually turbo, it'll need a stronger pp and clutch.

pretty soon i'll have a used ACT HD pressure plate and a brand new ACT Street disc for sale... as well as a freshly resurfaced BP flywheel... if you're interested.

we could even do a trade... you know what i need

lol yeah I know what you are after, I am going to call the guy about the GTX trans today and I will get you an answer by the weekend on whether or not I'm selling it. I have the trans, axle, and jackshaft, so it should be a complete setup, would you need the mounts too?
