Stock boost, NGKBCPR6ES-11 or BK6RE. High boost, 15 or more, one step colder, BKR7E or BCPR6ES-11. If you have a stock coil you'l want to run about a .026-.028 gap. Stick a Jacobs coil in there and you can go to .038, most worthy. These engines are very picky about plugs and wires. Use these plugs, and NGK wires, or 10mm magnacore. I've tried many other brands and have gotten misfires and other bad behavior, they just don't last.'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.
